Man Ray 17-Inch Wooden Chess Board, IC Design — A board this flat and quiet lets Man Ray’s geometric pieces do the talking.
An authorized IC Design edition.
The Design Story
Designed as the stage for Man Ray’s pieces, this board repeats their two tones: natural wood and black. IC Design had it made in Germany by a family workshop now in its third generation, a maker whose boards have passed through the hands of players including Bobby Fischer.
Why You’ll Love It
A board this flat and quiet lets Man Ray’s geometric pieces do the talking. The felt underside means it can live on a good table without scratching it. It also works with other sets you own, as long as the pieces suit its squares.
Made for Real Life
Pair it with Man Ray Chess Pieces and Board Set, Man Ray Beech Wood Chess Pieces, Cy Endfield 1972 Folding Travel Chess Set.
