Missoni Home
Missoni turned a knit stitch into one of design's most recognisable signatures. At LoftModern, the Missoni Home tableware collection brings those zigzags, stripes and ribbons to bone china, glass and serving pieces.
From Knitwear to the Table
The house began in 1953, when Ottavio and Rosita Missoni opened a knitwear workshop in Gallarate, Lombardy. The zigzag arrived soon after the early machines' stripes and became famous in the 1960s. Rosita later moved the family's patterns into the home, leading Missoni Home from the 1990s.
