Questions We Hear Most
What does the name Daqiconcept mean?
Daqi is Chinese for "precious, good things take time," a philosophy you can feel in the hand-finished porcelain.
Which Daqiconcept piece makes the best gift?
Bird is an easy, giftable desk or bedside lamp; Jingoo is the showpiece for music lovers; Chirp is for anyone who hates harsh alarms.
Do Daqiconcept products need an app?
Bird and Jingoo work without one (Jingoo pairs over Bluetooth). Chirp uses the free DAQIchirp app to set alarms by sound, with no Wi-Fi.
Can I mix Daqiconcept colors?
Yes. Bird comes in Ivory White, Burnt Brick, Almond Beige and Aqua Blue, and Jingoo in Aqua Blue and Ivory White, so a mixed flock looks intentional.
Where is Daqiconcept from?
Taiwan. The design team pairs traditional porcelain craft with new technology.
Which Daqiconcept design is award-winning?
JinGoo, the porcelain bird speaker light, won Japan’s Good Design Award in 2016 and a Taiwan Excellence Award in 2018.
