The Story
Designer Jakob Burgsø founded Boyhood in Denmark to make wooden icons that bring back happy memories. The studio partners with famous character brands for officially licensed pieces and designs its own objects from childhood games, all in solid FSC-certified wood with refined finishing.

Why oak?
Solid FSC-certified oak gives every piece its own grain and a warm, calm look that suits Scandinavian rooms; smoke-stained oak adds contrast for darker details.
Which Boyhood pieces are good for Christmas?

Will the wood change over time?
Direct sunlight can change the color of the wood, and Boyhood advises keeping solid wood away from stoves and radiators.
