Continuum Optic is a slim linear LED head that snaps onto the Continuum 24V track. It comes in 5 and 9 inch lengths, in Black or White.

The Design Story
The Optic is one of the Continuum heads, sold next to the Flat, Anti-glare and Gimbal heads. It uses the same 1 inch wide, 1.5 inch high aluminum and polycarbonate body, and it snaps into place on the track like the other heads. Its face is a row of small round lenses. ET2 does not publish a beam angle for it.
Why You’ll Love It
Both lengths list 450 delivered lumens. The 5 inch head draws 6 watts and the 9 inch head draws 9 watts, so the length you choose changes the size of the head and its power draw, not the lumen figure. Color temperature is 3000K with a CRI of 90, and the integrated LED has a 50,000 hour rated life.
Made for Real Life
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. Wipe the finish with a soft damp cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners.

It is rated for dry locations. Use it indoors on a Continuum track over a counter, shelf, desk or wall, wherever one compact head is enough.
Questions We Hear Most
Do the 5 and 9 inch Optic heads give different amounts of light?
ET2 lists 450 delivered lumens for both lengths. The 9 inch head draws 9 watts and the 5 inch head draws 6 watts. Both are 3000K with a CRI of 90. Count the wattage of every head on the track against your driver's 96W limit.
How big is the Continuum Optic head?
Across the versions, lengths run 5 to 9 in. Every version is 1 in wide and 1.5 in high. The Choose Your Version table above lists each size.
How much light does the Continuum Optic head give?
Delivered output is 450 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer or driver model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Continuum Optic head be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.
Where can I install the Continuum Optic head?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it indoors and out of any space exposed to rain or direct water. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
