Scented Candle in Starlight is Missoni at the table: the house's signature graphics, rendered in scented wax in glass.
One piece, Ø 3.3 x H 3.5 in (8.4 x 8.9 cm).
The Design Story
Starlight is one of Missoni's graphic porcelain patterns, built from the house's multicoloured motifs. Missoni began in 1953 as Ottavio and Rosita Missoni's knitwear workshop, and its patterns have moved from fashion to the home ever since.
Why You'll Love It
The pattern does the decorating, so even a simple meal looks considered. It mixes easily with plain whites or with other Missoni patterns. And it is designed in Italy by a house with seventy years of pattern behind it.
Made for Real Life
Made for scenting a living room or bedroom. Trim the wick before each burn, let the top melt to the edges on the first light, and never leave it burning unattended (our advice). Once finished, clean the glass with warm water to reuse it.
Worth Every Penny
At $290 for about 50 hours of burn time, that is roughly $5.8 an hour, and the glass vessel stays useful long after the wax is gone.
