Continuum Optical is a 2.75 inch wide LED head that snaps onto the Continuum 24V track. It comes in Black or White, and a Sunset Optical version is offered in the same sizes and finishes.

The Design Story
The Optical head is 2.75 inches wide, 5.75 inches long and 4.25 inches high, built from aluminum and PMMA, an acrylic. ET2 also lists a Sunset Optical version of the same head, priced a little higher; it has the same wattage and lumens. In the photos the Sunset glass is tinted pink and blue, and it throws a colored glow.
Why You’ll Love It
The LED is built in and rated for 50,000 hours. It draws 5 watts and delivers 350 lumens at 3000K with a CRI of 90, and it dims with a Triac dimmer. It is rated for dry locations.
Made for Real Life
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. Wipe the finish with a soft damp cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners.

Questions We Hear Most
What is the difference between Optical and Sunset Optical?
Both are the same size and draw 5 watts for 350 lumens at 3000K. The Sunset Optical is the version ET2 lists with Sunset glass, at a slightly higher price. ET2 does not describe it in more detail, so choose it by the Glass option on this page.
How big is the Continuum Optical head?
Every version is 5.75 in long, 2.75 in wide and 4.25 in high. The Choose Your Version table above lists each size.
How much light does the Continuum Optical head give?
Delivered output is 350 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer or driver model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Continuum Optical head be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.
Where can I install the Continuum Optical head?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it indoors and out of any space exposed to rain or direct water. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
