Tea Cups & Saucers, Set of 2 in Zig Zag Foliage is Missoni at the table: the house's signature graphics, rendered in fine bone china.
A set of 2, Cup Ø 3.35 x H 2.36 in (8.5 x 6 cm), presented in a Missoni gift box.
The Design Story
Zig Zag Foliage is Missoni's chevron in leafy, autumn-warm tones on bone china. Missoni began in 1953 as Ottavio and Rosita Missoni's knitwear workshop, and its patterns have moved from fashion to the home ever since.
Why You'll Love It
The pattern does the decorating, so even a simple meal looks considered. Bone china is lighter and whiter than ordinary porcelain, which makes the colours read crisply. It mixes easily with plain whites or with other Missoni patterns. The branded box makes it an easy, impressive gift. And it is designed in Italy by a house with seventy years of pattern behind it.
Made for Real Life
Made for tea or a cappuccino-size pour. It is listed as dishwasher safe, so it can be used every day.
Worth Every Penny
Used twice a week for ten years, $440 comes to about $0.42 per use (our math).
