Coffee Cups & Saucers, Set of 2 in Palazzo Pitti is Roberto Cavalli at the table: the house's print-driven glamour, rendered in bone china.
A set of 2, Cup Ø 2.3 × H 2.5 in (Ø 5.8 × H 6.4 cm); saucer Ø 4.75 in (12.1 cm), holding 4 fl oz (118 ml), presented in a Cavalli luxury box.
The Design Story
Palazzo Pitti is a love letter to Florence, Cavalli's hometown: Renaissance-style blooms and leopard spots collide on bone china, the way only Cavalli would mix them. Roberto Cavalli opened his house in Florence in 1970, made animal print his signature, and in 2012 took it home with the launch of Roberto Cavalli Home at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Why You'll Love It
The design does the decorating, so even a simple coffee looks considered. Bone china is lighter and whiter than ordinary porcelain, which makes the print read crisply. It mixes easily with plain whites or with other Cavalli patterns. The branded box makes it an effortless, impressive gift. And it carries the name of one of Italy's boldest fashion houses.
Made for Real Life
Made for espresso and short coffees. The distributor doesn't publish care instructions. We recommend washing by hand in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge, no abrasive pads, and no microwave. Avoid sudden temperature changes and stack with a cloth between pieces (our advice).
Worth Every Penny
Brought out twice a week for ten years, $300 comes to about $0.29 per use (our math). That is $150 per cup and saucer.

Questions We Hear Most
What's the story behind the Palazzo Pitti design?
Palazzo Pitti is a love letter to Florence, Cavalli's hometown: Renaissance-style blooms and leopard spots collide on bone china, the way only Cavalli would mix them.
How should I care for the Palazzo Pitti coffee cups set?
The distributor doesn't publish care instructions. We recommend washing by hand in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge, no abrasive pads, and no microwave. Avoid sudden temperature changes and stack with a cloth between pieces (our advice).
Is the Palazzo Pitti coffee cups set gift-ready?
Yes. It arrives in a Roberto Cavalli luxury box, ready to give.
What goes well with the Palazzo Pitti coffee cups set?
Other pieces from Cavalli's Palazzo Pitti service, or plain white tableware if you want the pattern to stand out. Mixing two Cavalli patterns, such as an animal print with a white-and-gold design, also works well.
What are the exact measurements of the Palazzo Pitti coffee cups set?
Cup Ø 2.3 × H 2.5 in (Ø 5.8 × H 6.4 cm); saucer Ø 4.75 in (12.1 cm); capacity 4 fl oz (118 ml).
Why does it matter that the Palazzo Pitti coffee cups set is bone china?
Bone china is porcelain made with bone ash, which makes it whiter, lighter and more translucent than ordinary porcelain, so patterns and metallic details look crisper. The distributor lists this piece as bone china.
Why We Love It
Cavalli never did quiet for its own sake. Even the white-and-gold pieces have attitude, and the animal prints are pure runway. Bringing them to the table is the easiest way to live with that energy every day.
