NAVETTA Table Parmesan Grater by blomus — A Parmesan grater on a polished stainless-steel bowl: grate at the table and the cheese collects ready to serve.
Part of NAVETTA, the Parmesan grater with serving bowl from the German design house blomus.
The Design Story
studio blomus shaped NAVETTA like a small boat, its name in Italian, so the grater and its bowl travel to the table as one object. NAVETTA comes from studio blomus, the brand’s own design team in Sundern.
NAVETTA, Italian for a little boat, is a polished steel bowl topped with a grater, built for Parmesan at the table.
Why You’ll Love It
Freshly grated cheese, no board, no mess, and no separate bowl to wash.
Made for Real Life
Wash by hand to keep the polished steel bright, as blomus recommends. Pairs well with the oak boards, oil and vinegar duo and oak mills.

Why We Love It
Freshly grated cheese at the table, without a mess. From a small town in Germany’s old steel region, the Blome family has gone from bicycle parts (1921) to metal gifts (1961) to the design label blomus (2000), still family-run in its fourth generation. LoftModern is an authorized blomus retailer.
