The Design Story

Thöming kept ALINJO deliberately quiet: clear glass and a single steel cap, so the color of a good olive oil or balsamic becomes the decoration. Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, researches the everyday problem before she draws the answer, which is why her pieces for blomus tend to solve something small but annoying.

ALINJO is a pair of slim glass bottles capped in matte steel, made to live on the table rather than in the cupboard.
