The Design Story
Thöming gave the salt and pepper mill a single, seamless body and a smart plug-in mechanism, so refilling is as easy as using it. Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, researches the everyday problem before she draws the answer, which is why her pieces for blomus tend to solve something small but annoying.
SALPI is a pair of seamless, soft-touch mills in two tones, salt and pepper reimagined as a modern sculpture.
