Ice Cream Mirror in Smoked Grey turns a favorite treat into a wall piece: a Smoked Grey scoop above mirror glass, finished with a real oak stick.

Designed by EO’s founders in Copenhagen, it is slim enough for the narrow walls nobody knows how to decorate, and witty enough to become the thing guests mention.

The Design Story

Nicole & Tor Vitner Servé founded EO, short for “Elements Optimal”, in Copenhagen in 2013. EO describes the Ice Cream Mirror as inspired by one of their favorite foods. The palette runs Warm Rose, Smoked Grey, Ocean Blue, Exotic Green and Hazel Brown, meant to be collected and hung as a series.

Why You’ll Love It

It is genuine mirror glass, not a reflective film, so it does a mirror’s job. The untreated European oak stick adds warmth and a natural texture. At 22 cm (8.7 in) wide it fits where a round or rectangular mirror won’t. It works in a child’s room and in an adult’s hallway equally well. And two or three together make a gallery wall with almost no effort.

Nicole & Tor Vitner Servé, the founders of EO. Nicole studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts; Tor spent years in the Danish design industry with OK Design, Bo-Tikken, Normann Copenhagen and Luceplan Scandinavia.
