The Design Story

Ladenac Milano, which traces its perfume-making to 1884, designed Urban Senses around journeys between great cities, from New York and Paris to Dubai, Cape Town and Istanbul. The deluxe 500 ml (16.9 fl oz) bottle is finished in metallic tones and crowned with an engraved metallized cap, so the diffuser works as a decorative piece as much as a fragrance.

Every Ladenac piece starts with Patrick Douenat, a perfumer with three decades in luxury fragrance who shaped the house's look in Milan. The formulas draw on a candle-making heritage dating to 1884 and are produced in Spain under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, and the house's Bois de Russie took the Best Home Fragrance prize at the 2025 Academia del Perfume awards in Spain.

  • Boisée Chic: Dubai and Doha. Bergamot, orange, cardamom and clove, then sandalwood, cedar, vetiver and a smoked-wood accord, settling on musk, patchouli, labdanum and guaiac wood.
