Marcel by Cyclampa puts a real bicycle wheel on a solid oak stool and lets its rim glow, a modern answer to one of the most famous objects in 20th-century art.
By day it's a sculpture of aluminum spokes, chrome and oak. By night the wheel becomes a ring of warm LED light.
The Design Story
Italian designer Fabio Antinori builds Cyclampa from original bicycle parts, celebrating cycling as a healthy, eco-minded way of life. Marcel's wheel-on-a-stool form tips its hat to Marcel Duchamp's 1913 Bicycle Wheel.
