Bird by Daqiconcept – Burnt Brick Porcelain LED Desk Lamp, Touch Dimmable

Bird is a porcelain songbird glazed in warm Burnt Brick, leaning forward over a pale wood base as if keeping you company.

Designed and made in Taiwan by Daqiconcept, it is a lamp you notice with your fingertips as much as your eyes.

The Design Story

Daqi means "precious, good things take time." Daqiconcept built Bird around the sense of touch, the calm we feel brushing leaves or bark on a walk. The curved porcelain invites your hand, and the 23.5-degree lean recalls a bird caring for its young.

Why You'll Love It

Burnt Brick is the warmest Bird: a sun-baked clay tone that looks at home with oak, cane, linen and dried flowers. The handmade matte porcelain has a soft texture. The light is a warm 2700K, like candlelight at dusk. Tap the base for three set levels, or hold to fade to exactly the brightness you want. It runs on USB, so it is as happy beside a laptop as beside a bed.

Made for Real Life

At 7.5 inches tall on a 4.1-inch base, Bird fits the narrowest nightstand, a bookshelf gap or a studio desk. Think of it as mood light and companion rather than a work lamp.

Questions We Hear Most

What does the Burnt Brick Bird look like in a room?

Burnt Brick is the warmest Bird: a sun-baked clay tone that looks at home with oak, cane, linen and dried flowers.

Why does the Bird by Daqiconcept lean forward?

Its head tilts about 23.5 degrees, like a bird sheltering its young. Daqiconcept shaped it so the light feels protective and companionable.

Is the Burnt Brick Bird a good bedside lamp?

Yes. The warm 2700K glow and touch dimming make it a calm bedside companion, and it only needs a 4.1-inch circle of space.

Is each Bird shell really handmade?

Yes. Daqiconcept finishes every shell in handmade matte porcelain, chosen for how it feels under your fingertips as much as how it looks.

Can the Burnt Brick Bird run from a laptop?

Yes. It takes 5V 1A over USB, so it runs from a laptop or monitor USB port as easily as from a wall adapter.

Which Bird colors can I mix?

Bird currently comes in Ivory White, Burnt Brick, Almond Beige and Aqua Blue. Mixing two or three along a shelf or on matching nightstands is part of the fun.

Why We Love It
