The Design Story

Marcus Bree builds little buildings. From his studio in Brisbane, Little Building Co. turns original drawings, archive photographs and site visits into laser-cut timber kits that feel like an architect’s working model, and part of each sale goes back to the organisations that protect the real buildings. Scott’s brick power station on the Thames sat silent for almost twenty years before Herzog & de Meuron turned it into the world’s most visited modern art museum, then added a twisting brick tower beside it.

Lay out the parts, follow the diagrams stage by stage, and leave the glue to set between sessions. Seal the finished timber with furniture wax.
