ST906 Table Lamp by Tom Rossau — a small, timeless glow for shelves and windowsills.
Paper or birch, the lamellas wrap the bulb in soft, calm light.
The Design Story
Part of the ST906 series from the early 2010s, the table lamp is Tom Rossau’s most compact classic. The studio began with an experiment: Tom Rossau pressed thin strips of wood into a cylinder to see how they would bend, and the harder he pressed, the more expressive the shape became. That experiment became the TR5 in 2005, and every lamp since has followed the same idea of flat material coaxed into sculpture, built by hand in Copenhagen.
Why You’ll Love It
It is the lamp you put in a window so the house glows from outside, and it suits every room.
Made for Real Life
One E26 bulb and a plug. The small fits bookshelves; the large suits dressers and sideboards. It pairs beautifully with the ST906 Pendant, ST906 Mini Table Lamp and TR7 Table Lamp.
