The Design Story
Pahu is a Besa ceiling light built around its glass. Double glass: an inner opal cylinder with a satin-etched outer layer, centered inside a transparent outer cylinder in Clear, Amethyst, Armagnac, Olive or Smoke. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.

About 11.75 inches across and 10.625 inches from the ceiling.
Is the Pahu 12 LED version dimmable?
Yes: the LED is CL dimmable and gives about 1100 lumens of warm 2800K light. The bulb version dims with a regular incandescent dimmer.
Which Pahu 12 glass color is the most neutral?
Clear/Opal: the outer glass is clear, so the look stays light and works with any palette. Smoke is the moodier neutral; Amethyst, Armagnac and Olive add color.
Can the Pahu 12 handle a steamy bathroom?
Yes. It is damp rated for indoor rooms, so bathroom and laundry ceilings are fine; it is not meant for outdoor porches or spots that get sprayed directly.
How far does the Pahu 12 hang down?
About 10.6 inches from the ceiling: close enough for a hallway, deep enough to show off the glass within glass.
What does the Pahu 12 need for installation?
