Original BTC Codie Rise and Fall Pendant is a pendant light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
Codie strips the pendant back to essentials: a wide polished aluminium shade, white inside, on an adjustable rise and fall. Its metal parts are shaped in Original BTC’s own metal works, a Birmingham workshop it took on in 2011 that still spins, welds and solders brass, copper and aluminium the traditional way.

An electrician connects it to a ceiling box. After that, the rise and fall lets you pull the shade down for dinner and push it back up afterwards. Wipe it with a soft cloth, barely damp, and dry it. No solvents or scouring pads on the metal.
