One long, low forged piece that keeps logs off the hearth floor so the fire breathes. Raw, simple and made by hand.
The Design Story
Italian designer Marco Ferreri drew the Ferro & Fuoco ("iron and fire") collection for Conmoto. The iron comes from discarded railway tracks; it is hand-forged with water power in a hammer mill that, according to Conmoto, is 500 years old. Every piece carries the marks of the hammer, so no two are exactly alike.
