Original BTC Fin Pendant, Extra Large is a pendant light and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.
Wired for North America (120V AC).
The Design Story
The Fin’s folds are moulded into the bone china itself, so when the lamp is on, every ridge throws its own line of light and shadow. Every bone china piece is cast in Original BTC’s own Stoke-on-Trent factory, a multi-day process of pouring, drying, hand finishing and firing that gives the material its glow.

It is quietly dramatic, and the matching china ceiling rose finishes it properly. Bone china is the signature of Original BTC: founder Peter Bowles was the first designer to use it for lighting, and it turns a lamp into a soft, translucent source of light.
Made for Real Life
An electrician connects it to a ceiling box. You choose the drop at installation. Switch it off, then dust it with a soft cloth or wipe with plain water and dry it well. Treat the shade like fine china, because it is.
