Apollo Pendant by Broberg & Ridderstråle for Pholc — two cones of solid machined metal, balanced point to point like a spinning gyroscope.
Choose the length for your ceiling and the color for your mood: polished aluminum, near-black Darkest Hour, or color-coated cones topped in brass.
The Design Story
Broberg & Ridderstråle turned each Apollo from a solid piece of aluminum on a lathe. Two cones balance point to point like a spinning gyroscope, and when the designers saw the first silhouette, it reminded them of the rocket engines on the Apollo spacecraft, which settled the name.

Why You’ll Love It
It has the presence of a sculpture at the scale of a pendant. The machined surface catches the light all along its length, the colors are deep and confident, and a cluster at different heights looks like a small fleet ready for launch.
Made for Real Life
Hardwired on 10 ft of cable, so the drop is easy to set over a counter or a table. Use the bulb the version calls for: a GU10 spot for focused light on aluminum versions, a G9 for the brass-topped ones. It sits beautifully alongside the Apollo mini cone pendant, Apollo wall sconce and Apollo floor lamp.
