Aro Toothbrush Holder Graphite is a calm Graphite cylinder with a chrome ring: an open cup for toothbrushes and toothpaste, made by hand in São Paulo.
Toothbrush holder in Graphite, Ø 10.5 × H 13 cm / Ø 4⅛ × H 5⅛ in.
The Design Story
Round, dark and calm. Aro is Vallvé's cylinder family, cast here in Graphite resin with a chrome ring, a color that reads almost like slate on a white or marble counter. Vallvé started in a rented São Paulo warehouse in 1962, when Catalan-born Josep Maria Sedó Vallvé began casting resin with metal, wood and acrylic on machines he built himself. His son Pedro Sedó took over in the 1990s, every piece is still made by hand, and Vallvé has won the Top of Mind Casa & Mercado award for bathroom boutiques since 2003.
Why You'll Love It
Graphite looks rich against white, marble or wood. Each piece is made and finished by hand, so it has a weight and depth that molded plastic can't match. It is part of a full Vallvé collection, so you can build a matching vanity piece by piece. And it comes from a family company that has been making bathroom pieces in Brazil since 1962.
Made for Real Life
An open cup for toothbrushes and toothpaste. A soft damp cloth with a drop of mild soap, then a dry microfiber cloth, keeps the resin bright. Skip scouring pads, bleach, acetone and solvents, and never put it in the dishwasher.

Questions We Hear Most
What's the idea behind Vallvé's Aro design?
It is built around a calm Graphite cylinder with a chrome ring. See The Design Story above for more.
Is the Aro toothbrush holder made by hand?
Yes. Vallvé says its production is 100% handmade at its workshop in São Paulo, Brazil, where the company has been working with resin since 1962.
Will the Aro toothbrush holder suit a small bathroom?
Yes. At Ø 10.5 × H 13 cm / Ø 4⅛ × H 5⅛ in it takes very little counter space.
Would the Aro toothbrush holder make a good gift?
Yes, especially for someone finishing a new bathroom. It ships in protective packaging and we are happy to add a gift note.
How do I keep the Aro toothbrush holder looking new?
Give it a gentle wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and dry it off; keep scouring pads, acetone and the dishwasher away from the resin (our advice).
Why We Love It
Most bath accessories are an afterthought. Vallvé treats them as design objects, made by hand in resin with real depth and color, and that is exactly the kind of piece LoftModern exists to find.
