TR33 Floor Lamp by Tom Rossau — a towering white sculpture that lights a room from the floor.
Three bulbs glow through the textured lamellas, turning the whole lamp into a soft column of light.
The Design Story
The TR33 is the grandest expression of the asymmetric lamella forms Tom Rossau began with the TR32 in 2017. The floor version brings that scale into homes and lounges. The studio began with an experiment: Tom Rossau pressed thin strips of wood into a cylinder to see how they would bend, and the harder he pressed, the more expressive the shape became. That experiment became the TR5 in 2005, and every lamp since has followed the same idea of flat material coaxed into sculpture, built by hand in Copenhagen.
Why You’ll Love It
It has the presence of a gallery sculpture and the gentle light of a paper lantern.
Made for Real Life
At 63" tall and 32.87 lb, place it where it has room to breathe. Three E26 bulbs. It pairs beautifully with the TR33 Pendant, TR32 Floor Lamp and TR41 Floor Lamp.
