The Design Story
TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Thalia collection follows that approach. The material does the talking: velvet has a soft pile that catches the light.
Why You'll Love It
Hidden storage under the seat keeps spare blankets, shoes or pillows out of sight. TOV rates the comfort as firm on its plush-to-firm scale, so you know how the seat will feel before it arrives. A seat 21.5 inches deep is room enough to sit and pull on shoes or perch for a chat. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to sit in. With 3 options to choose from, it is easy to match it to your bedding, rug or wall color.
Made for Real Life
Rated for 330 lb in total, it is built for daily sitting, not just for show. Inside you will find plywood seat support and foam cushioning. Keep it looking fresh by blotting spills quickly, vacuuming the upholstery now and then and keeping it out of harsh afternoon sun.

Questions We Hear Most

Will the Thalia 48.5" Performance Velvet Storage Bench fit at the foot of my bed?
At 48.5" wide it suits a queen, king or California king bed (our guide: a bench roughly 60–85% of the bed's width; a full bed is 54" wide, a queen 60", a king 76"). Leave a few inches between bench and bed frame so it slides out easily (our advice).

How much can the Thalia 48.5" Performance Velvet Storage Bench store?
TOV does not publish the inside storage size for this model; see Overall Size for the outer dimensions. TOV describes it this way: Scalloped shaping gives the bench a playful silhouette that turns everyday storage into a statement; Lift-top construction reveals hidden storage inside, perfect for stashing everyday essentials out of sight; Hidden storage makes it easy to stash throws, books, or odds and ends while keeping the room feeling tidy. It suits throws, spare pillows, shoes or toys (our advice).
Why We Love It
We pick pieces that look as good in a real bedroom or entryway as they do in a photo. The Thalia 48.5" Performance Velvet Storage Bench does that with performance velvet, honest dimensions and a maker that publishes its specs in full.
