The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Synn collection follows that approach. The material does the talking: bouclé has a looped, nubby texture.

Why You'll Love It

TOV rates the comfort as medium on its plush-to-firm scale, so you know how the seat will feel before it arrives. A seat 18 inches deep gives you room to linger over long dinners. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to sit in. With 2 options to choose from, it is easy to match the chair to your table, rug or wall color. The fabric is chosen to cope with everyday spills, which matters at the dinner table.

Made for Real Life

Rated for 265 to 330 lb depending on the option, it is built for daily sitting, not just for show. Inside you will find plywood board & pu foam seat support and fiber-wrapped foam cushioning. Keep it looking fresh by blotting spills quickly, vacuuming the upholstery now and then and keeping it out of harsh afternoon sun.

Where It Shines

It shines in dining rooms, breakfast nooks and kitchen tables. Line a set down both sides of the table, or use a pair as head chairs to mix with a bench or other styles.

Questions We Hear Most

How comfortable is the Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair?

TOV rates it medium on a plush, soft, medium and firm scale. The seat is 18" wide and 18" deep, filled with fiber-wrapped foam over plywood board & pu foam support.

Which colors does the Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair come in?

You can choose Cream and Black. Every option uses the same performance bouclé.

What materials are used in the Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair?

TOV lists the materials by option. Cream uses Boucle, iron and plywood. Black uses Boucle, iron, plywood and wood.

How many of the Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair fit around my table?

At 24.5" wide, plan roughly 29" of table edge per chair so everyone has elbow room (our advice). Divide the length of each side of your table by that number to see how many fit.

How does the Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair arrive?

Fully assembled, in 1 box measuring Cream: 25.8"W x 23.4"D x 29.5"H; Black: 26"W x 23"D x 29.7"H, by free ground delivery. In-stock options leave TOV's warehouse in 1–3 days.

Is the Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair the right height for my table?

With a 19.2" seat height it suits a standard 28–30" dining table, leaving about 8.8–10.8" between seat and tabletop (our guide: 10–12" is comfortable). The arms sit 28" off the floor, so check that height against the underside of your table apron if you want the chair to tuck in.

Why We Love It

We pick pieces that look as good in a real dining room as they do in a photo. The Synn Performance Boucle Dining Chair does that with performance bouclé, honest dimensions and a maker that publishes its specs in full.
