The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Opus table follows that approach. The material does the talking: hand-placed shell pieces catch the light across the top and capiz shell gives the surface a soft, pearly shimmer. An arched base gives the silhouette its curve. Natural seashells are individually handplaced by skilled artisans (TOV).

Why You'll Love It

At 30.3" it sits at or just below most sofa backs, so it tucks behind the sofa as if it were made for it. TOV rates the top for 185 lb, so a stack of books or a heavy lamp is no trouble. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to use. The shell surface changes with the light through the day, which is the kind of detail you notice slowly and keep enjoying.

Made for Real Life

The top is rated for 185 lb (TOV), so it is built for daily use, not just for show. Keep it looking fresh: dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; keep abrasive cleaners and bleach away from the shell surface. TOV adds: clean with a soft cloth; no abrasive cleaners or bleach.
