The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Forma table follows that approach. Skillfully Handmade (TOV).

Why You'll Love It

At 19" it sits between seat and arm height, so a drink or a book is always within reach without leaning. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to use.

Made for Real Life

The top is rated for 40 lb (TOV), so it is built for daily use, not just for show. Keep it looking fresh: dust with a soft dry cloth, wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth and dry right away, and keep it out of strong direct sun.

Where It Shines

It shines in living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners, beside a sofa, armchair or chaise. Pair it with a small lamp beside the sofa, or use a pair as mismatched nightstands in a guest room.

Questions We Hear Most

What is the Forma Chrome Side Table top made of, and how does it feel?

Made of aluminum and mdf with a chrome finish.

What color is the Forma Chrome Side Table?

It comes in Chrome, made of aluminum and mdf with a chrome finish.

What materials are used in the Forma Chrome Side Table?

TOV lists aluminum, mdf.

Is the Forma Chrome Side Table the right height for my sofa or bed?

It stands 19" high. Most sofa arms sit 24–26" off the floor and seats 17–19", so it is classic side-table height, above the seat and a few inches below most sofa arms (24–26"), an easy reach for a drink or a book (our guide). As a nightstand it would sit a few inches below a typical 24–28" mattress top; fine for a lamp and a glass, lower than a conventional nightstand (our note).

How does the Forma Chrome Side Table arrive?

Fully assembled, in 1 box measuring 21"W x 21"D x 26"H, by free ground delivery. In-stock options leave TOV's warehouse in 1–3 days.

Can I use the Forma Chrome Side Table as a nightstand?

It can, in a pinch: at 19" it sits a few inches below a typical 24–28" mattress top, so it suits a lower bed or a lamp-and-glass setup rather than a conventional nightstand (our guide).

Why We Love It

We pick pieces that look as good in a real living room as they do in a photo. The Forma Chrome Side Table does that with aluminum and mdf, honest dimensions and a maker that publishes its specs in full.
