The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Cyprus table follows that approach. The material does the talking: hand-placed shell pieces catch the light across the top and capiz shell gives the surface a soft, pearly shimmer. Natural shells are hand-placed and polished for a luminous, tactile surface (TOV).

Why You'll Love It

At 30.7" it sits at or just below most sofa backs, so it tucks behind the sofa as if it were made for it. Only 13" deep, it fits a hallway or a narrow entry and still holds a lamp, a tray and a stack of books. TOV rates the top for 90 lb, so a stack of books or a heavy lamp is no trouble. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to use. The shell surface changes with the light through the day, which is the kind of detail you notice slowly and keep enjoying.

Made for Real Life

The top is rated for 90 lb (TOV), so it is built for daily use, not just for show. Keep it looking fresh: dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; keep abrasive cleaners and bleach away from the shell surface.

Where It Shines

It shines in entryways and narrow hallways, behind a sofa or beneath a mirror or TV. Hang a mirror or art about two-thirds its width 4–10" above the top, add a pair of lamps or a lamp and a bowl for keys, and slide baskets or a bench underneath.
