Braun BC16 Digital Alarm Clock in black: a alarm clock from the German design house whose watches and clocks were shaped by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs.
New.
The Design Story
The BC16 is pure Braun ergonomics: a thin housing, a display tipped back toward you, and a snooze bar that is also the foot the clock stands on.
Why You’ll Love It
It looks like a sheet of black glass on the nightstand, and the screen dims itself to suit the room. Braun is where so much of modern product design started: Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs drew watches and clocks for the company that still look current half a century later.
Made for Real Life
A soft, dry cloth is all it needs; skip sprays and solvents on the screen or glass.
