The Design Story
Monika Mulder began Mobil with a single brief to herself: a lamp that would look great in a New York loft. She thought of the black metal fire-escape railings and the round streetlights on the Brooklyn Bridge, and linked equal parts together so that, turned, they look like a mobile.
