MERA Smoke-Gradient Glasses by blomus

MERA Smoke-Gradient Glasses by blomus — Two hand-blown glasses with a smoke gradient that varies glass to glass, in a low 6.8 oz or tall 7.5 oz size.

Part of MERA, the hand-blown smoke-gradient glasses from the German design house blomus.

The Design Story

studio blomus let the glassblower’s hand show: every MERA glass has its own gradient, so a set looks collected rather than mass-produced. MERA comes from studio blomus, the brand’s own design team in Sundern.

MERA is a simple tumbler with a smoky gradient, each one blown by hand and each one a little different.

Why You’ll Love It

They are simple tumblers with real character, and the smoke color looks good with any tableware.

Made for Real Life

Dishwasher safe, according to blomus, which recommends hand washing as with all fine glassware. Because each glass is hand-blown, size, color, small bubbles and flow lines vary slightly. Pairs well with the coaster stack, glass carafe and whiskey cubes.

Why We Love It

Everyday glasses with the look of studio glass. From a small town in Germany’s old steel region, the Blome family has gone from bicycle parts (1921) to metal gifts (1961) to the design label blomus (2000), still family-run in its fourth generation. LoftModern is an authorized blomus retailer.
