MENOTO Adhesive Hook by Nina Thöming for blomus

MENOTO Adhesive Hook by Nina Thöming for blomus — A small, angular stainless-steel wall hook with a self-adhesive back, for hand towels, washcloths and other light items.

Part of MENOTO, Nina Thöming’s freestanding steel-and-stone bathroom series for the German design house blomus.

The Design Story

Thöming gave the MENOTO hook a crisp, angular steel face that matches the square tube of the MENOTO stands. Thöming, an industrial designer at Germany’s Flöz Design, let the steel tube run straight into the stone base, so metal and stone read as one sculpted foot.

Cool stainless steel or black steel against dark cast stone: MENOTO is a study in contrast, built to stand anywhere without touching the wall.

Why You’ll Love It

A neat steel detail you can add anywhere in seconds.

Made for Real Life

Wipe by hand with a damp cloth and dry it. PolyStone is a cast stone composite; its weight is what keeps each MENOTO stand firm on the floor. Pairs well with the MENOTO towel stand, MENOTO toilet valet and MENOTO covered-brush valet.

Why We Love It

Freestanding pieces solve the bathroom you can’t drill into, and MENOTO does it with the presence of a piece of furniture. From a small town in Germany’s old steel region, the Blome family has gone from bicycle parts (1921) to metal gifts (1961) to the design label blomus (2000), still family-run in its fourth generation. LoftModern is an authorized blomus retailer.
