The Design Story
Kim Richardt is a former blacksmith and self-taught designer whose fascination with classic Danish furniture led him to open a vintage design shop in central Copenhagen; he designed RO with Made by Hand in 2019. It draws on the 1920s and 1930s, when a simple shade was made by tying yarn around a frame.
