The Design Story

Björsing designed the pair to stand together like two short columns, one tall and slim, one low and open. Björsing, a Swedish cabinetmaker turned designer, borrowed the fluted shaft of a classical column and scaled it down into soft, matte bath pieces.

Architecture in miniature: KUA turns the fluted column into soft, matte pieces in Moonbeam cream, Micro Chip gray, Magnet charcoal and a warm Cedar Wood.

Clean with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water, then wipe dry to avoid water spots. Avoid abrasive pads and chemical cleaners, which can mark the surface for good. KUA is made from colored recycled polyresin, a blend of plastic and ground stone that gives each piece its weight and solid, stone-like feel.
