The Design Story

Humble designs its lamps in a studio in Amsterdam’s Houthaven district for hotels, restaurants and homes. The Two was conceived as the counterpart to the brand’s first lamp, the One: where the One is all bulb, the Two is a proper little table lamp, slim and refined, with a sturdy battery hidden in the base.

Why You’ll Love It

The proportions are what you notice first: a tall, thin stem and a neat dome that read as a real lamp at a third of the size. The light modes take it from a candle-like glow at dinner to enough light for an evening of reading notes. Finishes go from bold Yellow and Cobalt Blue to linen shades and metallic Gold and Bronze. It is one of the easiest ways to light a table where there is no outlet.

Made for Real Life

Switch it off first, then clean it with a cloth moistened with plain water (no solvents anywhere, shade and bulb included) and leave it to dry completely. Humble says the battery, LED and other components can be swapped out, so one tired part never retires the whole lamp. There is no flame, wax or smoke, so it is safe around children, fabrics and windy terraces, and one charge lasts many evenings (up to 96 hours). The light is warm, 2700K.

Can I take the Humble Two out to the garden?

Yes. With its IP65 rating it shrugs off rain, so it can live outside for the evening. Bring it in to charge.

What do I need to keep the Humble Two charged?

Nothing extra to start: a USB-C cable is included (bring your own USB adapter). For cable-free charging, add a Humble wireless charger or the Charging Dock Six.

Can I dim several Humble Two lamps at once?

Yes. The Humble RF remote (sold separately) adjusts several lamps together within 10 m.

Which Humble Two finish should I pick?

Smoked glass and metal shades read crisp after dark, linen and frosted ones soften the glow, and the bright colours become a focal point.
