Humble Firefly Rechargeable Lamp — Humble wanted the warmth of a tea light, which almost every interior uses, in a lamp that is safe, durable and easy to move.
Designed in Amsterdam by Humble.
The Design Story
Humble wanted the warmth of a tea light, which almost every interior uses, in a lamp that is safe, durable and easy to move. The Firefly is the answer: a short base and shade with a firefly-like glow inside, made in two metal colors, bronze and gold, with frosted, smoked or linen shades.
Why You’ll Love It
It is small enough for a crowded table yet still has a real presence. The shade throws a gentle pattern of light and shadow rather than a flat glow. At 2200K the light is warm and candle-like, and a single charge lasts for many evenings. Gold or Bronze with a linen, frosted or smoked shade covers both soft and dramatic rooms.
Made for Real Life
Wipe with a soft cloth dampened only with water while the lamp is off; don’t use cleaning solvents on the base, bulb or shade, and let it air dry thoroughly (care notes from the US distributor). The battery, LED and other parts are replaceable, according to Humble, so a worn part doesn’t mean a new lamp. Keep it company with Humble Firefly V2, single bamboo charger, double bamboo charger, Charging Dock Six, RF remote.

Questions We Hear Most
Why choose the Humble Firefly over a real candle?
There is no flame, wax or smoke, so it is safe around children, fabrics and windy terraces, and one charge lasts many evenings (up to 140 hours). The light is warm, 2200K.
Can I take the Humble Firefly out to the garden?
Yes. With its IP65 rating it shrugs off rain, so it can live outside for the evening. Bring it in to charge.
What do I need to keep the Humble Firefly charged?
Nothing extra to start: a USB-C cable is included (bring your own USB adapter). For cable-free charging, add a Humble wireless charger or the Charging Dock Six.
Can I dim several Humble Firefly lamps at once?
Yes. The Humble RF remote (sold separately) adjusts several lamps together within 10 m.
Which Humble Firefly finish should I pick?
Metal shades and smoked glass look crisp and evening-ready; linen and frosted shades soften the light; colors make it a focal point. Options: Bronze with Brown Linen Shade, Bronze with Frosted Shade, Gold with Smoked Shade, Gold with Emerald Linen Shade.
When will my Humble Firefly arrive?
It leaves our warehouse within 2–3 business days of your order.
Why We Love It
Humble started with one simple idea, a better alternative to candlelight, and still builds every lamp to be repaired rather than replaced. According to Humble, its lamps are used by hotels and restaurants including Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, The Savoy and the Cunard cruise line.
