Humble Bug Rechargeable Smart Lamp — Humble calls the Bug a gentle giant: larger than the rest of the range yet soft in presence.
Designed in Amsterdam by Humble.
The Design Story
Humble calls the Bug a gentle giant: larger than the rest of the range yet soft in presence. It was designed in Amsterdam for terraces, living rooms and restaurant floors, with a full aluminum body and a large battery, and it is the Humble lamp built to join a smart-home system.
Why You’ll Love It
It has the scale of a real table lamp with none of the cable. The wide dome spreads the light over a whole table, and at 81 lumens it is the brightest Humble here. Smart-home pairing means it can come on with the rest of your lights. Black, Beige or Gold, with or without a frosted shade, it looks as good switched off as on.
Made for Real Life
Wipe with a soft cloth dampened only with water while the lamp is off; don’t use cleaning solvents on the base, bulb or shade, and let it air dry thoroughly (care notes from the US distributor). The battery, LED and other parts are replaceable, according to Humble, so a worn part doesn’t mean a new lamp. Keep it company with single bamboo charger, double bamboo charger, Charging Dock Six.

Questions We Hear Most
Why choose the Humble Bug over a real candle?
There is no flame, wax or smoke, so it is safe around children, fabrics and windy terraces, and one charge lasts many evenings (up to 90 hours). The light is warm, 2500K.
Can I take the Humble Bug out to the garden?
Yes. With its IP65 rating it shrugs off rain, so it can live outside for the evening. Bring it in to charge.
What do I need to keep the Humble Bug charged?
Nothing extra to start: a USB-C cable is included (bring your own USB adapter). For cable-free charging, add a Humble wireless charger or the Charging Dock Six.
Can I run the Humble Bug from my smart-home app?
Yes, once it is paired to a Zigbee 3.0 bridge: it works with Philips Hue, IKEA Trådfri and Tuya, so you can use your phone, voice, a switch or a motion sensor.
Which Humble Bug finish should I pick?
Metal shades and smoked glass look crisp and evening-ready; linen and frosted shades soften the light; colors make it a focal point. Options: Gold with Frosted Shade, Beige, Beige with Frosted Shade, Black, Black with Frosted Shade, Gold.
When will my Humble Bug arrive?
It leaves our warehouse within 2–3 business days of your order.
Why We Love It
Humble started with one simple idea, a better alternative to candlelight, and still builds every lamp to be repaired rather than replaced. According to Humble, its lamps are used by hotels and restaurants including Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, The Savoy and the Cunard cruise line.
