The Design Story
Founded in 1985 and based in Belloch, outside Barcelona, Santa & Cole works like a publisher of objects: an editorial committee chooses a design, the technical team refines it, and nearby workshops make it. The result is a catalogue that values quality over quantity and pieces built to be used for a long time. The ribboned shades are a house signature: every day, Santa & Cole’s workshops turn thousands of meters of ribbon into lampshades by hand.
Why You’ll Love It
GT1500 turns the familiar ribboned drum into architecture. At 150 cm across it can anchor a whole room on its own, and the ribbon keeps something soft and handmade about it. The built-in LED gives it real power with warm, accurate light.
Made for Real Life
It is a project light: plan the ceiling support, the 1–10 V dimming and the drop with your electrician. After that, it asks only for an occasional dusting.
