Braun BNC013 Weather Station & Alarm Clock: a weather station alarm clock from the German design house whose watches and clocks were shaped by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs.
$135. New, from Braun’s official US distributor.
The Design Story
This weather station gives the forecast pride of place: an animated forecast fixed at the top of the display, with temperature, humidity and time beneath it.
Why You’ll Love It
It remembers the day’s highs and lows, and the outdoor sensor shows its own reading too. Braun is where so much of modern product design started: Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs drew watches and clocks for the company that still look current half a century later.
Made for Real Life
A soft, dry cloth is all it needs; skip sprays and solvents on the screen or glass.
