Rocket 2 Vase by Recozy — a sculptural vase 3D-printed from recycled packaging in Germany.

The Design Story

Recozy works out of northern Germany with a straightforward brief: make beautiful objects from what would otherwise be waste. Its vases are 3D-printed, layer by fine layer, from recycled food packaging turned into rPLA, on energy-efficient printers. The printing leaves a fine ribbed surface that catches light and shadow, and each vase holds a removable glass liner for water.

Why You’ll Love It

Rocket 2 is a sculpture that happens to hold flowers. The broad shoulders and narrow neck make even a single stem look composed, and the printed ribs give it a soft, textile-like glow.

Made for Real Life

Fill the glass insert, add flowers, wipe the vase now and then. For a rounder, wider-mouthed vase, see Poke 2 Ripple Vase by Recozy. Soft cloth for dust, a damp cloth with lukewarm water for marks. Keep the printed body out of the dishwasher, away from heat above 60°C (140°F) and out of constant direct sun.
