The Design Story
Viva is a Besa flush mount made from hand-blown glass: an opal glass perimeter with a sparkling prismatic disc fused to the clear bottom center. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.

Is the Viva 13 bright enough for a kitchen?
Its built-in LED gives about 2000 lumens of warm 3000K light, good for bedrooms, baths and smaller kitchens.
Does the Viva 13 sparkle or glow?
Both: the opal ring gives a soft glow, and the prismatic disc at the center throws a brilliant sparkle.
Is the Viva 13 okay over a shower or on a porch?
It is damp rated for indoor rooms, so a steamy bathroom ceiling is fine; it is not meant for outdoor porches or spots that get sprayed directly.
What does the Viva 13 need for installation?
It needs a standard 4-inch octagonal ceiling box and an electrician; it is hardwired, not plug-in.
Is there a bigger Viva?
Yes, the Viva 16 measures 16" diameter x 4.5" H.
