Trevi Multi is a wide pendant of slim metal arms in a grid-like formation, each ending in a globe of matt opal glass, made by CTO Lighting of London. It is 66.5 in wide and comes in 2 versions: Multi 6, with 6 globes, and Multi 10, with 10 globes.

It comes in 2 finishes: Bronze and Satin Brass, each with matt opal glass.

The Design Story

Trevi Multi takes the Trevi idea across a wider span. Arms in a grid-like formation hang from two ceiling points, each arm ending in a matt opal globe, for higher ceilings and grand interiors. CTO again looked to the fountain at the Piazza di Trevi in Rome. It comes with 6 globes (Multi 6) or 10 globes (Multi 10).

The Story of CTO Lighting

Chris and Clare Turner founded CTO Lighting in London in 1998 on one principle: design lights of uncompromising quality, using only the finest materials and working with elite British craftsmen. Chris is an engineer who designs and builds with meticulous detail, and Clare brings the eye of fashion. Together they built a name for understated luxury in hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-cut stone, and the collection has gone on to light The Savoy, The Dorchester, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

How It Was Made

CTO assembles every Trevi light to order in England. The arms are metal in bronze or satin brass, and each carries a globe of matt opal glass.

The Finishes

Bronze. Deep, rich color and a robust build bring a touch of historical weight to a modern room, with a warm, inviting glow.

Satin Brass. Warm golden tones and a brushed, satin surface give a soft sheen that feels luxurious but understated. CTO selects the metal for its durability and beauty.

Matt Opal Glass. Opal glass has a soft translucency that diffuses the light evenly and hides the bulb.

Made for Real Life

The 110-130V versions take E12 bulbs of 25W maximum each, or 4.5W LED bulbs at 2700K: 6 in the Multi 6 and 10 in the Multi 10. They dim on a trailing-edge (phase-cut) dimmer with a dimmable bulb. Each comes with two 39.4 in (1000 mm) drop rods that you adjust on site. They weigh 15.4 lb and 20.9 lb, and CTO asks you to check that the ceiling can carry the load. Both are IP20 for dry indoor rooms. Dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth and use a slightly damp cloth for marks. Skip detergents and abrasives.

Questions We Hear Most

Is Trevi Multi dimmable?

Yes. CTO lists trailing-edge (phase-cut) dimming as standard for the 110-130V version, and calls for a dimmable bulb. DALI is listed only for 220-240V.

What do Multi 6 and Multi 10 mean?

The numbers are the globe count: 6 or 10. Both are 66.5 in (1690 mm) wide and 25.2 in (640 mm) deep. The Multi 6 is 15.7 in (400 mm) high, and the Multi 10 is taller at 25.2 in (640 mm), with more arms.

How far does it hang?

It comes with two 39.4 in (1000 mm) drop rods that you adjust on site. The minimum overall drop is 19.9 in (505 mm) for the Multi 6 and 29.3 in (745 mm) for the Multi 10.

How does it fix to the ceiling?

It hangs from two ceiling roses, each 4.6 in (116 mm) across and 1.0 in (25 mm) deep, set 28.8 in (732 mm) apart. Ask your electrician to plan both fixing points.

What bulbs does it take?

Each globe takes an E12 bulb of up to 25W, or a 4.5W LED bulb at 2700K. The Multi 6 has 6 and the Multi 10 has 10. Use dimmable bulbs if you plan to dim it.

How heavy is it?

The Multi 6 weighs 15.4 lb (7 kg) and the Multi 10 weighs 20.9 lb (9.5 kg). CTO notes that the ceiling structure must be able to carry it.

How do I clean it?

Dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. If a mark remains on the metal or the glass, use a slightly damp lint-free cloth, then dry it with a soft dry one. CTO advises against detergents and abrasive cleaners.
