Thin LED, a line of light with almost no body
Thin LED is the pendant stripped to a single stroke: a slim bar of LED, three finishes and nothing else to look at. Hang it horizontally and it draws a line across a room; hang it vertically and it becomes a tall exclamation mark beside a window or stair.
It runs at a warm 3000K and takes either 0-10V or ELV dimmers, so it is easy to pair with a modern control system.
The designer and the story
Filipe Lisboa started in Portugal, moved into lighting and founded Viso in 1999. Thin LED belongs to the Origins collection he leads, and Viso lists projects like Host on Howard and Nusr-Et Steakhouse among its related installations.

A horizontal bar over a dining table or kitchen island, a vertical bar down a stair wall or beside a bed, or a pair of bars staggered across a living room.
Who this is not for
Thin LED is slender and decorative. It is not a high-output room light, and the LED is integrated rather than user-replaceable.

Filipe Lisboa, who founded Viso in 1999. It is part of the Origins collection.
What is it made of?
A slim metal body available in Chrome, Copper and Gold, with an integrated LED. Viso also offers custom canopies.
What is the quality of light?
Warm white at 3000K, from a slim linear source. The three lengths use different wattages, which you can check on the spec sheet.
What finish suits which interior?
Chrome is crisp and cool for white and steel interiors, Copper warms concrete and timber, and Gold suits dark paint and brass hardware.
Do the horizontal and vertical models differ?
They are separate models with their own item numbers, and the dimension drawing shows both. Order the one that matches how you plan to hang it.
