Scion is a branching steel sculpture with slim glowing tubes set along its limbs. It is offered in Black or Weathered Brass, in sizes from a single slim branch to a wide 3-light cluster.
It comes in 4 versions: 27 in, 24 in, 53 in 3-Light and 50 in. Finishes: Black and Weathered Brass.
The Design Story
ET2 lists Scion as a series of LED pendants made of steel and acrylic, in Black or Weathered Brass. The sizes are 24, 27, 50 and 53 inches, and the 53 inch version has three lights.
Why You’ll Love It
The size range lets you pick the scale for the room. The 24 inch version is one slim branch, the 27 inch is a more angular branch, and the 50 and 53 inch versions spread wide for a long table or open space. Black draws a graphic line against walls and windows, and Weathered Brass adds a warm aged-metal tone. The LED is integrated, with Triac, ELV or 0-10V dimming.
Made for Real Life
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Which Scion sizes and finishes are offered?
Scion comes in 24, 27, 50 and 53 inch versions. The 24, 27 and 50 inch versions are offered in Black and Weathered Brass, and the 53 inch 3-light version in Weathered Brass.
How long is the cord on the Scion, and can I set the hanging height?
Cord length is 120 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 149 in (27 in and 53 in 3-Light), 146.75 in (24 in), 142.5 in (50 in). The shortest hang is 31 in (27 in and 53 in 3-Light), 27.5 in (24 in), 36.5 in (50 in), so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.
How much light does the Scion give?
Delivered output is 600 (27 in), 400 (24 in), 2000 (53 in 3-Light and 50 in) lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as Triac, ELV or 0-10V. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Scion be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 30,000 hours.
Where can I install the Scion?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
