HeadHat Plate L LED Pendant by Santa & Cole – White or Tile Red — a wide, spun-metal plate of a shade that spreads broad, glare-free light: the largest size, 29.5 inches across.
White or tile red shade. White or black canopy. 3 m or 8 m cable.
The Design Story
HeadHat Plate comes from Santa & Cole’s in-house team (2013) and belongs to its HeadLed system: one LED “head” capsule fits a range of interchangeable shades, or “hats”, the way an Edison screw fits many bulbs. That makes the lamp easy to repair, reconfigure and keep for a long time.
Why You’ll Love It
The plate shape throws light wide and soft, and the bigger the shade, the broader and gentler the light. A translucent diffuser hides the LED, so there is no glare. Mix sizes in a cluster, or line them up over a long table. In tile red it is a warm accent; in white it disappears into a bright room.
Made for Real Life
Each option is a shade color, a canopy color and a cable length (3 m / 118.1 inches or 8 m / 315 inches); the cable itself is black. The LED is built in: 7.7 W, 752 lumens, 2700K, CRI 90. It dims with a 1-10V dimmer, sold separately, and the surface canopy mounts to a standard junction box. UL listed for dry locations. Wipe with a soft, smooth cloth; skip ammonia, solvents and abrasive cleaners (Santa & Cole’s care advice).
