How does the version named ADA differ?

ET2 names one version Penrose LED Sconce - ADA. It is 12 inches wide and 18 inches high with a 4.5 inch projection, in Gold. It uses a silicone diffuser and Triac CL dimming, and its output is 470 lumens. ET2 shows an ADA Compliant icon on that item's page, but its specification data lists ADA compliance as No for this version and as Yes for the 18 inch version. Please confirm with us before specifying it for an ADA project. See the Choose Your Version table for the other sizes.

How big is the Penrose, and how far does it project?

Heights run from 18 to 24 in and widths run from 7 to 12 in, depending on the version. Projection from the wall is 2.25 in (18 in), 7.75 in (24 in), 4.5 in (ADA). The Choose Your Version table above lists each size.

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.

Where can I install the Penrose?

It is damp rated, which suits covered or humid spaces such as a bathroom away from direct water spray. It is not meant for open exposure to rain. ADA compliance: Yes (18 in); No (24 in and the version ET2 names ADA, per ET2's specification data). ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
