Modulo Grid 11 is a linear chandelier of glowing opal domes set along a metal frame with smoked glass plates, designed by Federico Peri for CTO Lighting of London. It spans 65.6 in and works as a centrepiece over a dining table or in a double-height space.
It comes in 3 finishes: Satin Brass, Bronze and Antique Bronze, each with smoked kiln glass and matt opal glass.
The Design Story
Modulo was created for CTO Lighting by the Italian designer Federico Peri. It is built on a modular form: glowing domes spaced in linear configurations, with the light reflecting along an elongated, transparent glass disc and the metal frame that carries it.
The Designer: Federico Peri
Federico Peri is an Italian designer. He earned a degree in interior design at IED in Milan, then won a scholarship to an artist residence in Paris, and opened his own studio in 2011. His early years were spent close to metal production. He designed CTO’s Modulo collection, in grid, horizontal, vertical and wall versions.
The Story of CTO Lighting
Chris and Clare Turner founded CTO Lighting in London in 1998 on one principle: design lights of uncompromising quality, using only the finest materials and working with elite British craftsmen. Chris is an engineer who designs and builds with meticulous detail, and Clare brings the eye of fashion. Together they built a name for understated luxury in hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-cut stone, and the collection has gone on to light The Savoy, The Dorchester, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.
How It Was Made
CTO assembles every light to order. Each smoked glass plate is a kiln-cast piece, handcrafted and textured by artisans, and matt opal glass domes diffuse the light evenly and hide the source. The frame is solid metalwork in antique bronze, bronze or satin brass.
The Finishes
Satin Brass. Warm golden tones and a brushed, satin surface give a soft sheen that feels luxurious but understated. CTO selects the metal for its durability and beauty.
Bronze. Deep, rich color and a robust build bring a touch of historical weight to a modern room, with a warm, inviting glow.
Antique Bronze. Rich, deep tones with a natural patina. Each fixture shows the character of the material and the hand of the British artisans who finish it.
Smoked Kiln Glass. Each smoked glass plate is handcrafted and textured by artisans. The deep smoky color and textured surface reflect and diffuse the light with depth and drama.
Matt Opal Glass. Opal glass has a soft translucency that diffuses the light evenly and hides the bulb.

Made for Real Life
The 110-130V version has an integrated 49.5W LED at 2700K, dimmable with a trailing-edge (phase-cut) dimmer. At 39.7 lb it is a heavy fitting, so the ceiling fixing must carry the weight. Dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth and avoid abrasives.
