Le Klint Mushroom Wall Lamp, Light Oak is a wall lamp designed by Vilhelm Wohlert in 1957, and every one is made by Le Klint in Denmark.
We sell the 120V AC version, wired for North American homes.
The Design Story
In 1957 architect Vilhelm Wohlert designed this wall lamp for the honorary Copenhagen residence of Nobel Prize winner Professor Niels Bohr. Its pleated shade sits on an untreated oak base, and its shape gave it its name: The Mushroom.
Why You’ll Love It
It is small, quiet and warm: a pleated cap of light on a solid oak base. In a hallway or next to a bed it gives just enough glow without glare.
Made for Real Life
To keep the pleats crisp, switch it off and dust it now and then with a soft, dry brush.
